Bellator 288 is primed and ready to go down later TONIGHT (Friday, November 18, 2022) inside Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois with a double championship title. In the main event of the evening, light heavyweight kingpin Vadim Nemkov will face Corey Anderson in the Grand Prix Final. The co-headliner of the event will be a very intriguing lightweight title fight as Patricky Pitbull puts his 155-pound belt on the line against Usman Nurmagomedov.

Fortune Tyrell versus. Daniel James
Turn 1: They touch gloves. Fortune’s hard low kick to start things off. Another but James grabs it and sends it to the canvas. Fortune gets up and James grabs him and pushes him against the cage, Fortune reverses her position. There’s a halt to the action after Fortune brings her enemy to her knees in the groin area. Fortune shoots for the takedown once the action resumes, and he gets it. There’s not a lot of action on the pitch. Fortune delivers a few punches alongside James, but nothing seems to hurt him. James is a sitting duck with Fortune on him. James treis to get up and Fortune grabs his back and sinks into a rear-end choke. It’s tight and James fights his hands and he reverses his position and he starts planting bombs on Fortune to close the round. Savage! Super tight round. 10-9 Fortune
Round 2: James lands a huge uppercut in the first seconds of round 2 that drops Fortune! He leaps up and starts flying his elbows. One after the other. The referee gives Fortune time to recover but he’s seen enough. Wow! What a start from James!
Final result: James defeated. Fortune via second-round TKO
faraldo roman versus. Levan Chokheli
Round 1: Both men come out swinging and Chokheli goes for an early takedown, and he gets it. Chokheli almost chokes but Faralod escapes. Back on their feet and Chokheli lets his fist fly and he momentarily rocks Faraldo. Chokheli comes in for the takedown, stuffed and a nice judo throw from Farlaldo, who finds himself in the mount position. It was smooth. Farldo starts to let his elbows fly and Chokheli kind of reverses his position and he’s now on guard. Chokheli doesn’t do much from this position. He gets some space and starts on the floor and delivers. Faraldo tries to get up but Chokheli maintains his position. Faraldo struggles, but he can’t escape his opponents’ tight grip. It was a close round but Chokheli takes it. 10-9 Chokheli
Round 2: Faraldo lands a right hand and Chokheli tries a takedown again, but he’s stuffed. They swing towards the fences, but Chokheli doesn’t like it at all and grabs Faraldo and pushes him against the cage. Chokheli is in Faraldo’s open guard. Chokheli takes Faraldo’s back and is now looking for the rear naked choke. Faraldo escapes but he eats a kick to Chokheli’s face. Chokheli grabs Faraldo and drags him to the fence, but he eats elbows to the side of the head for his troubles. Chokheli with a nice right hand but Faraldo lets go of him with a nice right hand and he leaps. Chokheli tries to survive while Faraldo unleashes hell with his fists. He’s out of the woods for now. Faraldo now lands several blows to the side of the head and he is deducted a point for grabbing the fence. He finishes the round with non-stop elbows. He would have won the round had it not been for the fence grab. 9-9
Round 3: Faraldo needs a finish because if he wins this round the fight will be a draw. Faraldo swings hard but nothing connects cleanly. Chokheli shoots for the takedown but he’s stuffed again. Both men slowed down a bit on the third and final lap after throwing significant heat through the first two laps. Left hook from Chokheli and Faraldo return fire with a clean right hand. Chokheli changes levels and he finally gets the withdrawal. It’s a critical takedown that will earn him points in the inning. Faraldo must progress to try to get the knockout or try to get a submission from the floor. Chokheli has an excellent position and he is not ready to let go. Chokheli gets a warning from the referee to work some more. Faraldo works hard to get up, but Chokheli doesn’t move with a minute left in the fight. The fight ends in the same position with Chokheli on top and Faraldo trying to get back up. 10-9 Chokheli
Final result: Chokheli defeats. Faraldo by unanimous decision
